Frequently Asked Questions

  • We accept applications from JK to Grade 8.
  • Openings do become available in other grades from time to time. Please speak with our Admissions Team about openings available.

We do. However, every child who is accepted into the school must go through the process of applying and an interview. Children with exceptionalities are often extremely gifted. We need to know however more about where their challenges lie and where their wonderful gifts are, and most importantly because the majority of our students are neuorotypical. We must know if they are able to integrate well into a group environment.

  • Complete the application for admissions located on under the Admissions tab. The deadline is August.
  • You will then receive a call from our Admission staff.
  • If you are applying for our virtual online school we will conduct a Zoom or in-person interview with you. We would also like the opportunity to meet your child(ren) to get to know them and their learning levels. If we are able to offer a position for physical learning in our school, we will conduct the interview in person.
  • Once the interviews are completed, we will let you know when your child(ren) may begin and the application process will be completed.
  • The application and deposit deadline is August 15th. We also begin accepting applications for the 2021 school year in March 2021.

By August 20th or sooner.

  • There are tuition payment method options, however all students must pay an up front non-refundable deposit upon acceptance. The non-refundable deposit fee is equal to 2 months of payments.

At ThriveKids Academy, we do not follow traditional methods of seated learning and classes limited to ages. We typically keep our classes down to a 5:1 ratio for the academic component to our program. As social skills are a large piece of our curriculum we want children to learn to be related to all ages. Our older children enjoy mentoring and our younger kids are inspired by this. So you will notice mixed ages at times, but all children will receive a full curriculum.

We do not offer daycare services, but we do offer programs! We offer before and after school programs through ThriveKids Inc. Check out our ThriveKids Inc website for more information or register through Moment!

Not at this time. The cost of insurance is prohibitive currently. We will let you know if this changes.

We offer a whole host of activities available on our Programs pages. We will also be offering tutoring, music and dance mid-way into the academic year.

Yes! We offer Homework Helper classes after school!
